asked:Locked up in a cell together: "We would probably kill each other, if that would not happen then we would think of a way to get out and part ways. I would even go as far of thinking of another scenario which would probably make the guards blush." -insert Loki winking gif here-

✗ Prompt; We just woke up locked in a cell together. Message me your reaction.

“Oh Come now, darling. Let’s not sell each other short.”

“I am certain we could achieve all three.”

“-In contrasting order, of course.”

..Poetic.. Khan let his head fall back with a stifled laugh caught in his throat. Exhaling loudly to show his amusement. This man was.. Lyrical, to say the least. Even if the well versed quality in his voice resonated a faint sense of sorrow. It reminded him of one of his old books. Painted with sentiment and something else whose lure he couldn’t fully comprehend. Either way he enjoyed it. Pleasantly surprised to find himself fabricating a sense of tolerance for the presence at his back. Maybe even welcoming it.

Not that he would have a choice either way.

They were tethered together at the wrists. Him and this man.

Arms entwined by a short lead of metal and cuffs. He found it strange, this subsequent formation of back to back captivity. It was almost as if their captors were encouraging them to break free of these initial restraints. Not that it would do any harm, They were both still encased in unbreakable glass. They would only gain the range of motion the glass prison afforded them so why was it set up this way? He knew it wasn’t in reflection of their own personal comfort.

He felt the lash of oppressed power bristle up from the gods form behind him. Radiating against him as if it had read his mind and came up with the same conclusion. It was only mildly uncomfortable.

"It is merely the ploy of a simple people constructing simple plans." He stated.

Eyes fluttering shut as he let his physic slacken into whatever was pressed at his side. Weather it was Loki or a wall he did not know, nor did he care. Concentrating instead on what his hands were doing as he maneuvered them around. Pressing three long fingers of one hand into the small bone of the other. Adding pressure until even he began to strain.

"The supreme act of war is to subdue an an enemy without ever fighting them." He let out a deep breath, coercing himself to relax.

 "If able..-"

"-Let your opponents eliminate each other." A shallow hiss left his lips just as the sound of snapping bone filled the air. Sitting up Khan pulled his left hand free of its bonds, inspected it sharply.

Flexing pained fingers Khan tried to asses the damage. Isolating it to the thumb which hardly fractured and already began sprouting a pattern of purple bruises around the knuckle. It was healing.

"Should we not humor them?" He asked, turning to inspect his cell mate with one wicked gleam of a smile. There was madness in his eyes. A sort of Instability combined with dark interest. Wetting his lips Khan moved so that his hand touched around the others neck. Thumbing a calloused finger across the skin. He could feel Loki’s pulse drum fiercely under his press. Alive with what they called magic. It was intriguing. He’d be lying if he said that in that moment he didn’t feel any type immense temptation to discover more. Test boundaries. Fitting his hand so perfectly around the others throat that he couldn’t help but wonder what would happen if he squeezed.

He never gave himself time to find out. relaying instead to logic when he promptly withdrew his hand and instead pressed it to the collar around the tricksters neck. Fidgeting with the device experimentally before snapping it in two.

The power he had felt before flared. Expanding so swiftly that it almost made the augmented man want to move away.

"Or shall we play some games of our own, instead?"

It was never good to have someone quite villainous on the ship and Chekov silently cursed to himself that he had to run into this man. “Er, Sir? I believe you are not supposed to be here. Keptin Kirk will zertainly not like you presenze. I assume you are here to meet our Keptin?”

At first he hadn’t thought much of him. Just another disheveled crew member scampering about aimlessly, trying to fix the warp drive failure. But then Chekov had turned towards him, halting mid sprint to stare with recognized danger flashing through those scintillating little eyes.

He was brighter than the rest of the group, that much was obvious. Khan had yet to be spotted for who he was by any other on the bridge. Maybe due to the tacky red shirt he ‘borrowed’ to slip over his black garments. Still. One should be more wary.

"We’ve already met."

He supplied with a condescending undertone. Eyes wandering across the chamber for any sign of the photon torpedoes. He had a hunch about where they might be and what direction he would have to walk to get to them. If only this shorter human left him alone. He meant no harm, currently, He just wanted to see them. To know for sure that they were here. That they were his and that they were safe. Not decoys, Not Lies. Just his crew. He would know it the instant he saw them and then it would put his mind to ease. He had no reason to stir trouble as things were. He just wanted to know.. And know he did. Spotting one hoisted up by chains dangling dangerously from the ceiling. It was being moved. Pulled to the side by a group of men

"What are you doing with that?.” He demanded, Turning to the younger being with resigned indignation. It occurred to him that he was now more out in the open. Many of the busy bodies that had previously skewed his space leaving for divergent decks.
